Legislative Day

Participate in MBAF Legislative Day. Learn how the votes of our elected officials affect the mortgage banking industry.

Eastern Secondary Market Conference

Attend the conference as well as serve as a member of the planning committee to expand your understanding of the big picture of mortgage banking.

Annual State Convention

Attend the convention, network with peers, participate in all sessions as well as serve as a member of the convention committee or a sub-committee.

CampusMBA

Register for and successfully complete at least two courses to expand your knowledge of the mortgage banking industry

Application December 31st


Maximum Class size will be four (4) individuals. Attendance of the Eastern Secondary Market Conference, Legislative Day, and the Annual Convention will be completed in the first 6 months of the calendar year following the enrollment year.


The class must participate in the convention committee during this first 6 months.


Committee participation in the Eastern Secondary Market Conference Committee and one other committee of their election will be required during this second 6 month period. In the second 6 months of the calendar year the class will develop a project intended to
improve the Mortgage Bankers Association, mortgage industry and/or consumer awareness of our industry/association.


The project topic will be announced at the fall Board meeting held each November and the findings/results presented at the following convention. The completion of the Campus MBA class will be required by this convention date as well. The class will graduate at this convention and receive a Mortgage Leaders Graduate (MLG) designation and recognition.


Overall Class length will be approximately 18 months and Future Leaders Chair in office at enrollment will remain class liaison until graduation.

To be considered, applicants must be:

  • Real estate finance professionals with a minimum of 3 years experience.

  • Full-time employees of Regular or Associate MBA member firms or adjunct state associations

  • Individuals that have demonstrated a commitment to a career in real estate finance through professional excellence and achievement.
